Recommended Applications

Arbomeric MP 20 is a versatile sealant suitable for a wide range of construction applications. It is particularly recommended for:

Structural joints in heavy cladding
Movement joints in flooring
Floor joints in high-traffic areas
Secure environments such as prisons and supervised units, where anti-pick and anti-vandal properties are essential

It is ideal for areas prone to abuse or potential vandalism.

Please Note:

Not suitable for use in lightweight cladding systems or swimming pool joints
Arbomeric MP 20 is over-paintable once fully cured, but we strongly recommend conducting pre-use compatibility tests with your chosen paint

Joint Preparation

All joint surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and other contaminants. Surfaces should be degreased using the appropriate Arbo Cleaner to ensure optimal adhesion. Link to recommended primer here ARBO 2650 Primer - 500ml – GER Construction Ltd

In certain cases, a primer may be required depending on the substrate type. For specific recommendations, it is advised to consult the Adshead Ratcliffe Technical Services Department to ensure the correct primer is selected for your application.
