The Rockwool Ablative Coated Batt is a high-performance fire protection solution designed to slow the spread of flames, smoke, and heat through service penetrations in walls and floors. Manufactured from dense stone wool insulation and finished with a white, fire-resistant ablative coating, this batt delivers exceptional fire-stopping performance while maintaining acoustic and thermal benefits.

Ideal for use in both new builds and refurbishments, the 60mm coated batt provides up to 4 hours of fire resistance (tested to BS EN standards) when installed as part of an approved fire-stopping system. It is commonly used around pipes, cables, ducts, sockets, and other penetrations where maintaining compartmentation is critical.
